First Contact Physiotherapists (FCPs) appointments are now available for adults at our Practices throughout the week. Our reception team can book patients in direct without the need to see a GP first. Please click here for the inclusions/exclusion criteria. Our designated practice FCPs Rob, Sam, Stacey and Cheuk, will assess, provide advice and decide on the most appropriate management pathway. The FCPs can provide corticosteroid joint injections if indicated, request investigations such as X-ray, and refer for physiotherapy treatment or for an orthopaedic opinion. They also liaise with the doctors for blood tests, analgesia and notes for work if required.
