Non-urgent advice: Patient Notice – Home Visit Requests
If you think you need a home visit, please call the practice before 10:30am on the day you require the visit
.
Calling before 10.30am allows our clinical team time to assess requests and allocate clinicians appropriately, ensuring home visits are provided safely and efficiently.
Our home visit service is strictly reserved for patients who are clinically unable to attend surgery due to severe illness or genuine mobility issues. This allows us to prioritise those who are most vulnerable and ensure our clinical team can provide timely care.
We are only able to offer home visits for those who are truly housebound. Clinicians can see more patients in the time it takes to travel to a single home visit, meaning unnecessary visits delay care for others who urgently need it.
Declining home visits is not something we wish to do, however we must utilise time effectively to ensure patients receive timely and appropriate care.
A Warm Welcome
